Here is a small selection of workshops on offer which can be hosted at your studio

Introduction to the Classical Pilates system 2 / 3 days

This workshop explores the basic exercises in the Classical system utilising all of the Pilates apparatus. You will leave understanding how a session is put together to give a client a workout that is tailored for their body and incorporates mat, reformer and other pieces of apparatus in the studio

The Classical Pilates intermediate system 4 days

This workshop looks at how to progress your client to the next level of each exercise plus adds a whole new repertoire of exercises which can either challenge them within the work they already know, prepare them for the advanced system or work on their own particular body weaknesses.

The Chairs 1 day

We look at High Chair and the Wunda Chair and how the two link together. The high chair is often under used so we show you how you can easily choreograph a workout on the high chair as well as how exercises progress from here to the Wunda chair

Wunda Chair 4 hours

Joseph Pilates “home reformer” is incredibly versatile and misunderstood. It can be used to both challenge or assist a client in an exercise or can be used to make them look at the matwork from a whole new perspective. This workshop shows you how to put exercises together to form a flowing workout as well as looking at how to help clients that maybe stuck with a particular mat or reformer exercise.

Mat Variations 2 hours

Taking the matwork and looking at how to work clients deeper within the exercises they already know. Look at how to challenge clients without straying from the essence and principle of the original exercise whilst still keeping the flow of the work.

Mat with Props 2 hours

We look at how simple props like a wooden pole and a foam block can provide both challenge and variations to the original matwork. The aim of the workshop is to show you inexpensive and easily transportable props to incorporate into a classical mat class
