Classical Pilates Training was founded by Gaile Dean and Lucinda Bicknell to address the lack of teacher training and continuing education in Classical Pilates in the UK.

Classical Pilates Training offers intensive teacher training packages in your own studio alongside continuing education workshops. Our teacher training programme and continuing education workshops adhere to the Classical Pilates Method as created by Joseph Pilates.

The teacher training programme covers the Classical Pilates Method from Beginner to Advanced utilising the entire studio apparatus enabling you to teach Pilates as Joseph Pilates intended. The classical system utilises flowing transitions to keep the body moving and systematic repetition of movement enables the client to re pattern faulty movement habits. Our Pilates training program is the result of many years training in the Pilates Method, learning from some of the best teachers in the world including some who worked directly with Joseph Pilates himself. The Classical system enables you to apply your knowledge to anyone from the unfit to the super fit.

Classical Pilates Training also offers continuing education workshops that can be hosted at your studio in addition to our own programme of workshops run locally in West Sussex. Furthermore we endeavor to present workshops with guest presenters and world renowned master trainers, which are open to teachers from all styles of Pilates.
